Welcome to WildFest San Antonio!

Most people know that San Antonio is home to the famed Alamo and the River Walk, but what may be a surprise is that these two landmarks are located in the crossroads of four diverse ecosystems.  Join us May 6 – 8, as we celebrate the nature and history that is San Antonio’s legacy with WildFest San Antonio!

The mission of WildFest is to educate residents and visitors about the unique natural and historical environments and to increase awareness of nature within and around San Antonio.  This mission will be supported through lectures, workshops, and field trips; hiking, birding, and star-gazing activities; special events at unique locales; and by directing visitors and locals to our parks, River Walk, San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, and other cultural, natural, and environmental treasures.

All scheduled events will focus on birds, plants, bats, history, art, archaeology, geology, water and other topics linked to nature, and held at venues throughout the county including natural areas, city, county, state and federal parks, and museums and gardens.
